Hanging Out with Friends

This afternoon, we headed over to Michael and Nikki's house for supper. Thane, Kylie, Duanne, Amy, Tom, Megan, and all their kids were there with us...10 adults, 13 kids...

Michael broke out the cigars. The smoke kept the mosquitoes away... It was rather humorous watching him light it...

The girls were in competition against the boys. Each were finding ways to get the others upset. The girls were filling water balloons...the boys would try to sneak over and take them. The girls wised up and asked their dads to guard the balloons. In this picture, Gavin was trying to get Michael wet with a water gun (he is hiding behind the car)...while Michael was aiming a balloon (good thing the girls didn't notice).

Niles snuck in and started squeezing the water balloons. He was quite entertaining. :-)

The kids played, the parents watched, and then we ate supper. What a wonderful afternoon with friends!

A Morning at the Pool

After breakfast, the kids got their swimsuits on and waited by the door for 9AM to come. There were anxious to get to the pool!

Happy 99th Birthday, Grandma Great!

After we pulled the kids out of the pool, bathed them, and got them ready, we all headed to Grandma Great's house for her birthday party with family. Blake enjoyed the watermelon.

Tyler and Gavin eating in the back of Uncle Tom and Aunt Megan's gator... They brought it along with them...and their camper. They stayed at a campground fairly close to Grandma Great.

There birthday signs were posted for all to see! It is amazing to think that Grandma Great is 99 years old! She has seen so many wonderful things happen...and so many amazing changes in her lifetime.

On a trip to the woods and field on the gator, the kids picked Grandma Great some flowers for her birthday!

We pulled out onto Grandma Great's road...and didn't even get to the nearest intersection before all three kids were out! What a fantastic weekend we had with our family!

The kids, Nathan, and I had an amazing weekend. We do enjoy seeing Grandma Great and spending time with her. We also look forward to spending time with Brad, Monica, Haley, Tyler, Chloe, and Blake. Thanks for such a fabulous weekend! It seemed as though our comment for the weekend was..."less than impressed." :-)

Wildlife

When we got home this evening from Grandma Great's party, we had a deer in the back field.

We enjoy watching wildlife in the back and front field...deer, birds, turkeys, and even fox and turtles.

Happy 99th Birthday

After arriving home from the sleepover, we unloaded our bags and packed them again. We then took off to visit Grandma Great! She turned 99 on May 25! What an amazing milestone!

After spending some time with Grandma Great, we headed to a hotel. We were shocked at the amount of standing water in the fields!

Waiting for Cousins

After we left Grandma Great's house, we checked into our hotel. The kids waited patiently for Brad, Monica, Haley, Tyler, Chloe, and Blake...by the hotel window.

The kids were excited to get together again. Whittney and Chloe had fun being silly.

Gavin and Aleigha ended up together because Tyler fell asleep in his parent's room. It worked out well because we had adjoining rooms. The kids were able to run between both rooms and play. We had such a wonderful time!
