Busy Busy Builder

Dad and Gavin went hunting this afternoon. The girls and I played board games. One of them was Busy Busy Builder. Aleigha was proud to have the tool belt!

Happy Birthday Brendan and Dalen!

This afternoon we went back to Uncle Jasen and Aunt Chasta's house for a birthday party for the twins! In this picture, Maelei, Aleigha, Whittney, Kelsey, and Diane were watching the boys open their gifts!

Aunt Avis is holding a jar with a butterfly...another birthday butterfly that needed to be released! Grandma Till came to this birthday party too!

A Trip to the Zoo

Today Whittney and I went to the zoo with her first grade class. Her friend, Chloe, walked around with us today. On the bus, the girls wanted me to take a picture of their silly bands.

The girls first wanted to go to the petting zoo. They brushed the goats...and then proceeded to name all of them.

After some time at the petting zoo, the girls were looking at the zoo map to see where to go next.

Along the path in the African section, the girls took another break in a tent.

Throughout the day, we would come across other students from Whittney and Chloe's school. At the end of the day, they met up with Brooke. The three of them wanted one last picture together before leaving!

The girls had a great time! We ended up going to the petting zoo four times! They obviously like animals.

Riding With Uncle Tom

After the soccer game today, we went to Aunt Megan's. Mom and Aunt Megan made applesauce...again! Last Saturday, they canned pears and made applesauce. After lunch, Gavin went and rode with Uncle Tom.

He had a great time...and had all kinds of things to share they he learned. Including how to tell who is driving the combine.

Gavin's Soccer Game

Today was another soccer game for Gavin...He is on a youth soccer league, which has games on Saturday mornings!

Grandpa Pat!

After the game, Gavin and Aunt Megan compared feet. We discovered this week that Gavin's feet are ALMOST as big as mom's feet. Gavin was sure his feet were bigger than Aunt Megan's! He couldn't wait to see...It was close! They did switch shoes and could wear each other's shoes with no trouble! I think Gavin is too young to have feet the same size as me!!!!

School Carnival

Tonight after school, we went to the school carnival. The kids were each given tickets to spend on games! Gavin and Whittney both got their hair colored. Gavin was multicolored and Whittney had polka dots.

We brought home 2 fish...thanks to the second grade carnival game! Thank goodness the one Aleigha dropped made it home safely!

A Walk in the Woods

After school today, we took a walk in the woods next to our house. It was quite an adventure! The kids loved it!

Visiting Friends While Camping

This evening, we met Thane, Kylie, Joel, Avery, and Niles at their cabin while they were camping. Duane, Amy, Mason, and Morgan were visiting too! All of the kids had a fun night! Here are part of them...eating. Aleigha is on the left. On the right: Whittney, Avery, Niles, Morgan, and Mason.

We had a cookout for lunch! YUM! Aleigha was pretty proud that she was cooking a hot dog all by herself...then she tried to grab the hot dog off the stick and burnt her hand...Guess she is not quite as big as she thought.

Happy Birthday Chase!
