Cheerleading Camp

Today Whittney had a three hour cheerleading camp at a local university. She learned cheers, chants, jumps, and a dance. The university did a wonderful job with all of the children who attended and Whittney had an enjoyable time!

Here she is with Storm...the mascot. He came to visit the camp so the boys and girls could show him everything they had learned so far!

Later, during a boys basketball game, the cheerleading camp boys and girls showed the audience what they knew! Whittney is in the pink pants! She was a little nervous, but there were a lot of people there watching!

Visiting Friends

Today we went to Michael and Nikki's for supper. The kids enjoyed playing together before and after we ate! In these pictures, Aleigha had taken a baby to Michael and asked him to dress it. Then she is waiting patiently for him to finish...

Happy Birthday, Whittney!

Today was Whittney's "real" birthday. She wanted to go to Acapulco for supper...yum! Before our food arrived, she needed to use the restroom and wanted me to go with her. I told her that she was 6 now and could probably go by herself. She agreed! In this picture, Gavin was giving her bunny ears when she got back.

Whittney was taking pictures to keep herself busy!

Grandma...

Grandma Suzie...

Grandpa (and part of Daddy)...

Grandpa Pat...

One of the reasons Whittney wanted to go here was because she knew they would sing Happy Birthday to her. In this picture, she is listening to them sing to her...

Peek - a - boo!

Aleigha and Grandma Suzie are having a great time!

Happy Birthday Party!

After the roller skating party, we headed home to get ready for Whittney's family birthday party. It rained a little bit as we were preparing for the party...and there was a rainbow that ended in Grandpa and Grandma's field! We joked with Grandpa that he should go find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

Whittney was all dressed up in princess items from her roller skating party (tiarrra, bracelets, scepter, and microphone)...thanks to Tandree and Taigan.

After a supper of pork tenderloin on the roitisseure, Whittney was ready to open her presents...still in her princess attire!

Whittney was sure to read every card she opened out loud...even if they were upside down.

Grandpa Pat and Grandma Suzie got her The Princess and the Frog makeup set (along with a bag full of other goodies)...which was a hit, as you can imagine!

Uncle Andy and Uncle Grant enjoying the party!

After presents, we had some Hannah Montana cake!

After the party, Aleigha tried out some of the lip gloss Whittney had opened!

Thanks to all of our family for coming to Whittney's birthday party! She had a fun time!

Whittney's Skating Birthday Party

This afternoon, we headed to go roller skating. Whittney was looking forward to her party because she just LOVES skating! In this picture, her and Mataya are looking at the present Mataya gave her!

Taigan and Mataya are interested in Whittney's presents!

Since most of Whittney's friends have brothers, the brothers were invited too! Hayden, Dylan, Joel, and Gavin are having fun roller skating too!

I think this was all of the kids from the party around the table for cupcakes and drinks!

Niles (Thane and Kylie's third child) came to the party too! He was having fun hanging out with his dad in this picture!

Cadence, Brooke, and Olivia...all looking a little bit tired! (Brooke was at Olivia's party last night too...)

Taigan, Macy, and Avery are all smiles!

Taylor and Evelyn did a great job skating too...for 2 year olds! They had a fun time!

Aleigha thinks she is writing her name on her cup, just like the big girls did...She was saying the letters (and numbers) out loud while she wrote...r n t 3 8 9. Aleigha is a character!

Evelyn is skating with Uncle Grant. She was skating a little bit ago with Uncle Tom, but she told him she wouldn't skate with him any more.

Aleigha, Taylor, and Evelyn are skating away!

Olivia and Brooke!

Evelyn, Whittney, and Olivia stopped just long enough for a picture!

And The Winner Is...

At Olivia's birthday party, she gave a paper crown to the person who wore the craziest shirt. It happened to be Grandma Great. Her t-shirt was hilarious! In this picture, she is holding Aubrey...can you believe how big she is getting (almost 6 months old now)?!

Olivia's Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Olivia's birthday party at her house. She requested that everyone wear a crazy shirt. This is Evelyn with her crazy shirt. Aunt Megan cut it herself...it looked pretty cute!

Uncle Grant...with his crazy shirt (one of Uncle Tom's cut offs)...and he is looking quite serious!

Whittney spent the night last night with Olivia...and spent the day today with her as well. You would think they would be sick of each other, but that was not the case. In this picture, Whittney is trying out Olivia's pink guitar...wearing a crazy shirt of Olivia's.

Happy 6th Birthday, Olivia!

Cleaning...or Shall We Say Delegating?

Whittney spent the night with Olivia last night. Six girls went to watch a movie, ate at Buffalo Wild Wings, and then it was a slumber party. Aunt Megan called today to see if Whittney could spend the day with them. After Gavin's basketball game (and lunch) we had Gavin sweep the living room floor. I was folding laundry and peeked out to make sure things were going well. This is what I saw...I just couldn't stop laughing...Gavin obviously knows how to delegate!

Grandma Till

Thursday after school, Mommy met Daddy and the kids and we headed to Gavin's allergist appointment. Then we headed to see Grandma Till in the hospital. She had a kidney biopsy on Wednesday and they kept her overnight. Then today they discovered fluid on her left lung and took off 2 liters. She was doing great when we stopped...very happy for the company. While we were visiting, her supper arrived. Aleigha thought she needed to help with some of it! Nathan picked her up Friday afternoon and brought took her home!!

Happy Birthday, Olivia!

Today is Olivia's birthday! HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY!

Mother/Son Bowling Fun

Tonight, we had a mother and son bowling night for Gavin's school. It was a fun time. Two years ago, we went to a mother/son dance...there was not much dancing going on (mostly running). This was such a fun idea! In this picture is Alex (Gavin's cousin), Gavin, and Hayden (Gavin's friend).

There were a large number of boys on each lane. When it was not their turn, the boys sat on the floor and rolled the bowling ball to each other. They thought of this idea ALL on their own!

Gavin and I enjoying the night!

A Family Event

Today after church, we changed our clothes, packed some food, and headed to Grandma Till's woods to meet Grandpa and Daddy to cut wood. Grandpa cut some wood just the right size for each of the kids to sit on by the fire.

LUNCH TIME!! The seats doubled as tables...how nice! We roasted weineys over the fire!

The girls stayed and helped for a while, but then I called Grandma Till. She was home so the girls stayed with her for a little while we finished cutting and loading. Gavin was intrigued by the fire.
